Maruho Research Award> Japanese Page
Established in 1999 to support the development of young researchers in dermatology, the "Galderma Award" was renamed the "Maruho Research Award" in 2020 and is now operated by Maruho Co., Ltd. Research papers in basic and clinical dermatology, collected through a public call for submissions, are rigorously reviewed by a selection committee. Outstanding papers are awarded, and the award ceremony, along with the award lectures, takes place at the JSID.
For the 26th Maruho Research Award, an Asia-Pacific research category has been newly added to the eligibility criteria.
The application period for the 26th Maruho Research Award is from April 15 to June 30, 2025, in Japan Standard Time (JST) (postmark date valid)

Master of Dermatology (Maruho)
Maruho established this prize in 2010 to recognize dermatologists who have made outstanding achievements in clinical dermatology and contributed to the development of the field of clinical dermatology in Japan. From the fiscal year ended September 2017, the prize was renamed Master of Dermatology (Maruho), featuring people who have made a great contribution to the development of dermatology in Japan through clinical, dermatological research, human resources development, social contributions, etc., and is jointly operated with the Japanese Dermatological Association.
