You can pull your top back down, thank you. Herpes zoster, or shingles, is a disease that will initially cause pain at surface of your skin, but as it gets better, some people suffer pain related to nerve damage underneath the skin. We call this (postherpetic neuralgia). For those people, the healing process will take a little longer.
If that happens, instead of the normal painkillers I've given you, you'll need to take some other painkillers for your nerves. I'll increase the dosage little by little while monitoring your situation, but to start with, for a week, (please take one tablet before you sleep).
