In addition to the existing integrated filling and packaging lines, which are suitable for mass production, we will establish a flexible production system for high-mix, low-volume production, with the aim of further improving QCDF*.* QCDF: Abbreviation for Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Flexibility, which is an evaluation indicator for production activitiesThese days, the manufacturing industry, like so many other industries, has been increasingly expected to contribute to the SDGs. Maruho is contributing to the realization of a sustainable society through a prompt and stable supply of products by its four production bases and efforts to reduce the environmental impact at each site. Moreover, we have introduced an hourly based paidleave system and other measures to help raise employee motivation, with the aim of invigorating the production sites as a whole. Maruho will continue to contribute to the realization of a society where everyone can live in health by providing a stable supply of safe, high-quality products. We organize meetings for members from various departments and listen to their frontline voices for the quality improvement of drugs and product modification. By hearing needs that we have not already considered, we get new ideas for product modification and quality improvement.
